Chicken Teriyaki Crockpot Meal {Recipe}

Since grill weather seems SO far in the future, I have kept the ol' crockpot on it's honorary place on the counter.  I will never again say I can't wait for cool weather and all things pumpkin.  I do not wish to wear comfy sweaters and boots anymore.  One more snowfall and I WILL have to be medicated!  Not quite sure how we can go from a 16 degrees this week to 55 degrees next week, but I will take it.  Although I will believe it when I see it!

This chicken teriyaki is such a light and delicious meal.  Pinterest again saved the day when I found the original recipe here.  It is a total fix it and forget it dish.  A crockpot meal that uses no Cream of Mystery Soup scores even more points with me!

Cast of ingredients-Sugar, Soy Sauce, Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Ginger, and Pepper

A delicious and aromatic bath awaits your bird!

The original recipe calls for chicken thighs, which I have no doubt would lead to better flavor.  This girl struggles with eating just some shredded breast so we won't go there.  But if you like flavor, go for it!
